Uber-popular TV-show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has finally dipped into the social game realm: starting today, Facebook users can play CSI: Crime City and pretend to be private investigators solving crimes in Sin City.
Tailored to the casual gamer, the game allows you to become a CSI and explore crime scenes, earn visual currency, and build your very own CSI Lab. Also, you can play alongside Dr. Ray Langston or Catherine Willows while exploring cool Las Vegas locations such as casinos, the desert, and the Las Vegas strip (and strip clubs! I’m kidding).

CSI: Crime City was written with the cooperation of actual CSI writers and features several storylines linked to several aired episodes (although, given that the original show is on its 11th season and has two spin-offs, it’s difficult to imagine that the game would not inevitably reference the series).
Since its Facebook Page launch last month, the app has gathered almost 6,000 fans and 16,000 players, with an average User Rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
